Custom Metal Fabrication

One-of-a-kind steel and aluminum parts, frames, enclosures and structures cut, formed and welded to your drawing, sketch or idea.

Some problems have no catalog answer. A bracket that does not exist, a frame for an odd machine, a cover for a pit, a stand for a tank. Custom fabrication starts with the problem and builds the part to solve it, in the steel or aluminum that suits the job.

Bring a drawing, a sketch on a napkin, a photo or only a description. We measure, plan the cuts, fit the pieces and weld them into a finished part. Prototypes, single pieces and small runs are all welcome, and we explain what is practical before we cut any steel.

From idea to part

We turn rough ideas into clear dimensions, check fit with you and build. Seeing a sketch or mockup before welding avoids expensive misunderstandings.

Material and method choices

Mild steel, stainless and aluminum each suit different jobs. We pick the metal and welding process that fit the strength, weather exposure and look you need.

Finishing included

Grinding, sanding, primer, paint or a protective coating can all be part of the job, so you receive a part that is ready to use.

Prototype first

For parts that will be repeated, building one prototype first and testing it in place avoids repeating mistakes. A good prototype is an inexpensive way to confirm dimensions and function.

How it works

Our process, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Call or send photos

Tell us what is broken or what you want built and send photos if you can. We plan the visit so the truck arrives ready.

  2. 02

    Look and quote

We see the work, ask about the metal and access and give you a clear written price.

  3. 03

    Schedule

We agree a day and an arrival window, and call when we are on the way.

  4. 04

    Safe setup and welding

Work zone cleared, fire watch in place, then careful welding in the right process for the metal.

  5. 05

    Finish and clean-up

Welds ground, primed and painted, and the area left clean.

  6. 06

    Walk-through and follow-up

We walk through the finished work with you and note anything to watch.

Questions

Custom Fabrication FAQ

Do I need a drawing?

No. A sketch, photos or a clear description works. We help turn it into dimensions and confirm them with you.

Can you build just one of something?

Yes. Single custom pieces and prototypes are a regular part of our work.

What metals do you work with?

Mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum are the most common. Tell us about the use and we recommend the best fit.

Can you install what you make?

Yes. We can deliver or install on site, depending on the size and location.

Should I build a prototype before a run?

For anything you will repeat, yes. A single test piece catches fit problems before they are multiplied.
