The first call
You describe the problem and send photos. We ask about the metal, the thickness, the location and access. That conversation decides what goes on the truck and how long the visit should take.
Arrival and setup
The truck parks as close as safely possible. We look over the work, clear combustibles, set up fire blankets and shields and position the machine, cables and ground clamp. Safety comes before the first arc.
Preparation
Good welds start with clean metal. We grind off paint and rust, cut out damaged sections and bevel joints. Parts are clamped or tacked into position and checked for square and level.
Welding
We choose the process that suits the metal and conditions, then weld in a planned sequence to control heat and distortion. For repairs, we often add gussets or plates where loads concentrate.
Finishing
Welds are ground smooth where needed, then primed and painted. Bare steel that is left uncoated rusts quickly, so a finish step is part of the job.
Clean-up and follow-up
We remove cuttings, grit and debris, check the area for hot spots and walk through the work with you. Many jobs end with a short note on anything to watch.
Good preparation, a clear plan and a proper finish matter as much as the weld itself.
