Trailer Repair Checklist

Tick what you see on your trailer and get an urgency rating and a repair checklist.

These tools give planning-level estimates from typical values. They are not quotes, designs or engineering, and results depend on your actual metal, thickness, access, local rules and conditions. Only a visit can confirm what a job needs, and we give you a clear price before any work begins.

How it works

Four quick steps.

  1. 01

    Tick what you see

Cracks, bends, rust, worn parts and loose pieces.

  2. 02

    Rate your towing

Heavy loads and long trips raise the urgency.

  3. 03

    Read the rating

    Stop, repair soon or monitor.

  4. 04

    Send it to us

We can plan the repair from your list.

Tips

  • Do not tow with cracks at the tongue or coupler.
  • Take photos of every crack for the repair visit.
  • Check tires, lights and brakes too; they are outside welding work.
Questions

About this tool.

Is the rating a safety inspection?

No. It is a simple guide. It does not replace a proper inspection, and brakes, bearings and tires need a trailer technician.

What does stop mean?

It means do not tow until the problem is repaired, because the failure could be sudden.

Can you repair it where it is parked?

Usually yes. Most trailer repairs are done on site.
