Tracks, rollers, wheels and frames for cantilever and rolling gates restored so they glide instead of grind.
Sliding gates ask a lot of their hardware. The weight rides on wheels or rollers, the gate travels along a track or a cantilever frame and any misalignment shows up as noise, binding or a gate that will not close. Because the parts work together, a small problem can look like a big one.
We inspect the track, rollers, guides, frame and support posts, then repair what has failed. That can mean welding a cracked frame member, straightening or replacing a bent track, fitting new wheels or re-aligning the gate so it travels freely along its full run.
Bent tracks, debris and worn wheels cause most binding. We clear, straighten, weld or replace the pieces and re-set the alignment along the full length.
A cantilever gate carries a long unsupported length. Cracks at the carriage and sag at the tail are common, and we weld and reinforce those stress points.
Top guides, catch posts and stops keep the gate in line. Worn or loose ones allow the gate to wander, and we reset or replace them.
Sliding gates run best on clean tracks. Gravel, leaves and ice stop wheels and strain the frame. A quick sweep and a spray of lubricant on moving parts goes a long way.

Usually the track is dirty or bent, or the wheels are worn. We clean, straighten and replace parts and re-align the gate.
Yes. We weld the carriage and frame, reinforce stress points and re-set the roller assemblies so the gate carries evenly.
We repair the metalwork. Motor and control problems are for a gate-operator technician, and we coordinate with them if needed.
Often. Light bends can be pulled and welded, while badly twisted frames may need new sections.
Keep the track clear, lubricate moving parts as the maker recommends and have us check wheels and guides once a year.
